Meaning - Universal Energy

Reiki is a simple but very powerful, profound and concentrated natural touch therapy that transfers healing energy from the practitioner to the client balancing and enhancing energy and optimum health. It stimulates the body's own natural healing ability at the deepest level removing physical and emotional blockages that may be causing illness or upset.

The essence of Reiki is to cleanse the body and balance the energy centres (chakras) bringing harmony to mind, body and spirit through a detoxifying process while at the same time promoting a more positive attitude. It totally relaxes the recipient who is usually steeped in a calming Reiki slumber.

Unlike other healing methods there is no need for the recipient to remove any clothing, there are no oils or products used, only the healers hands which are placed in several positions on the receiver’s head and over the whole body. Reiki is non-invasive and non intrusive. Reiki is always given with love, a caring attitude and respect for life.

What are the benefits of receiving Reiki?

Reiki is non-religious and differs from other healing methods (spiritual) because of its attunement and initiation process, which can only be undertaken by a Reiki Master.

The three degrees of Reiki
Anybody can be attuned and initiated to Reiki no matter what gender, age, learning capabilities or belief systems.

Reiki 1st degree is for you.
Self healing is the most dominant part of this level. There are many changes that occur for the recipient both physical and spiritual. The workshop will begin with an introduction to Reiki followed by a ceremony which will include each individual being attuned fully into the first level of Reiki. This attunement will link you to the healing energy of Reiki and will activate a healing within yourself. Following the attunement we will share experiences and you will learn how to use the healing energy which will flow through your hands. The rest of the workshop will be spent practising on each other.

Reiki 2nd degree is the practitioner level.
Your intuition heightens and the energies are more powerful. Distant healing is attuned at this level. This attunement takes you deeper into Reiki bringing more energy. After the attunement you will be introduced to the Reiki symbols and you will practise sending them within the group.

Reiki third degree is the Master/Teacher level.
Only to be undertaken if Reiki is going to be a large part of your life. At this level you are able to train, attune and initiate other Reiki students into the Reiki system.
